Anyway, as the title of this post says, I’m currently working on transforming my Disney Store Elsa doll into Rosalina from Mario because Frozen is boring. Here is Elsa in her original form:
Looking a little scraggly after being in my closet for about two years, but her original hairstyle won’t matter. Unfortunately, she has the Disney Store jointed-knee body, which is highly cursed and never looks good, but her dress is long so it’s okay. I gave her hair a hot water rinse to get rid of the styling product:
The weird shorter sections on top meant I didn’t have to cut bangs for her.
So there I was, all ready to start repainting, when I ran into a problem called I don’t have any acetone nail polish remover so I can’t remove any face paint. Ugh. Luckily, though, I’m about to head out to Walgreens, so expect part 2 coming very soon!
(Setup.)
Take it easy, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals (yes, I’m stealing Thomas Sanders’s outro until I come up with my own.) See ya!
I'm interested in seeing how this goes. I do like Frozen & Elsa, but I always like to see custom dolls, too, and I like Rosalina from Mario. Good luck and happy crafting!
